Layoffs Lead to Basic Business Plan Training

Plans are being made to hold a REAP Basic Business Plan Training in Falls City, Nebraska, upon the recent announcement of Ames True Temperís implementation of a reduction in work force. There has also been interest from the Falls City area in holding a training to help individuals looking at the possibilities of starting their own business.

The REAP Basic Business Plan Training is a five-session class, normally offered one night/day a week for five weeks. On July 13, 2006, there will be an informational meeting at 6:30 p.m. at the Falls City, City Hall Council Chambers. Anyone wanting more details about the five-week training course is invited to attend the meeting.

The Midwestern Womenís Show

The new Qwest Center in Omaha, Nebraska, will be the site of the Midwestern Womenís Show on October 6 to 8, 2006. The event centers on a womanís lifestyle. It will include businesses that deal with health and wellness, cosmetic enhancement and anti-aging, small business, financial, investing, family, and many more topics.
