Technology for Business Classes
Business owners and operators who are interested in learning more about doing business online are invited to participate in a four-part series emphasizing how technology can enhance business operations and profits.
University of Nebraska Extension Educators will teach this hands-on course, which will begin with looking at “What it is eCustomers Want” as they shop online. Trends in technology and ecommerce will be also covered in the first workshop.
Topics for following workshops will include Website Design, Marketing Your Website, Selling Products Online, and Your Internet Business Plan. The workshops will begin on January 11, 2005 and will continue on January 18, 25, and February 1, all beginning at 6:30 p.m. Some computer and Internet experience is required.
Courses will take place in Norfolk in the Lifelong Learning Center and in Geneva at the York State Bank. To preregister for the Norfolk class, contact Dewey Teel, Extension Educator, 402.370.4027. For the York class, contact Phyllis Schoenholz, Extension Educator, 402.450.6678. A registration fee will cover computer and other expenses. Class size will be limited.
