Subject: Invitation to the Small Business Fair at the Center for Rural Affairs Annual Gathering February 26, 2005
Dear REAP Members,
Join us for the Center for Rural Affairs’ 2nd Annual REAP Small Business Fair Saturday, February 26, 2005 in Norfolk, Nebraska. The fair is part of the 2005 Annual Gathering for the Center for Rural Affairs. This is your chance to get your business in front of hundreds of potential customers!
The Annual Gathering and business fair will be held at the Lifelong Learning Center, 801 E. Benjamin Ave., Norfolk, NE.
Vendor space is limited to 20 participants. One 8x2 foot table and two chairs will be provided per participating vendor. All other equipment (table skirts, cash boxes/registers, display equipment, special lighting, etc.) must be supplied by the vendor. If you require access to an electrical hookup, please include that information on the vendor space reservation form.
The gathering for this year includes several Teach-in sessions on various topics impacting economic survival in rural America today. Whether you choose to reserve a vendor space to exhibit/sell your wares at the Small Business Fair or not, you are welcome to attend any of the gathering’s activities.
A locally produced, family farm provided lunch will be available Saturday afternoon. The price for lunch is $7.00 if attending as an Annual Gathering participant. If attending as a vendor at the Small Business Fair, lunch will be provided as part of the vendor package.
The Schedule: Vendor set up time is from 7:00 a.m. to
8:30 a.m. Registration for the gathering begins at 8:30
a.m. The Small Business Fair will open to the public at that time, and run until 4:00
p.m. In addition to the time set aside to browse the Business Fair in the morning, the Center for Rural Affairs is developing a “visit the vendors” contest.
Finally, we will be providing advertising space in the activities program for any interested vendor participants. Ad copy will need to be camera ready and sent along with your vendor space reservation. Deadline for ad copy to be received is February 1, 2005.
If you are interested in participating in the 2nd Annual REAP Small Business Fair, please return, by February 1, 2005, the
vendor space reservation form along with a camera-ready version of the ad you would like included in the conference program.

Annual Gathering Program Ad Guidelines:
- Horizontal orientation
- 2 in. high x 3 in. wide (standard business card size)
- Black and White only (no color)
Please send ad information as camera ready, high quality print out on glossy paper in the size specified or as a .gif or .jpg file in the size specified, by February 1, 2005.
