New Youth Workshop to Make Business Sense

REAP has prepared a new 3 to 4 hour workshop called Making Business Sense for youth. It is targeted to 4-H members enrolled in the Business Sense project and to Junior and Senior high school groups.

The workshop was designed to be interactive and fun for participants. Activities center on an introduction to the steps needed to plan a business. They include topics such as:

  • Developing a business idea and image.

  • Identifying the target market.

  • Discussing the importance of customer service.

  • Creating a marketing and advertising campaign.

REAP will be offering this workshop as a way to be involved with youth entrepreneurship development in Nebraska.
